In 1970, Mr. Kerr opened his first store in the old Union 76 station at the corner of Lakeside Drive and Oakley Avenue. In 1973, he moved the operation to 1018 Fifth Street and the rest is history.

Over 30 years later, Kerr Tire & Automotive has grown tremendously. We now have 5 convenient locations in order to serve Lynchburg and the surrounding areas. Kerr Tire & Automotive also owns the Peakland Chevron in Boonsboro.
